Dr Gorka has been hinting at Lee Zeldin for months, but that's unlikely now that Doug Burgum is the latest and hottest tip. But Dr Gorka did say President Trump could change his mind and that's what's happened. Burgum's fundraising ability is sorely needed now.
I'm not sure ANYONE actually knows. I suspect the names change constantly. Ther are some I really don't think would be good.
Another whom I'd think would be good for all types of reasons:
Mike Huckabee, exec experience, a little more moderate, wouldn't care about running in 2028, seems to have really learned to appreciate and respect DJT (perhaps educated by his daughter?). Seems to not fear the Leftist and has a big evangelical following.
I don't see Rubio, for the same reason as RDS... splits the electors so is discouraged.
Elise Stafanik would be interesting, NY draw, young female, smart and appears unafraid.
It will be interesting as he always is.
